About The Position

The Administrative Office of the Courts is the operational arm of the Judicial Branch. The court system employs nearly 3,300 personnel who support 406 elected justices, judges, and circuit court clerks. The Office of Statewide Programs, Department of Specialty Courts has an opening for a Case Manager- Specialty Courts, Region 2, the position is located in Hardin County. Responsible for case management, monitoring, and referral of participants in the areas of substance abuse treatment, educational, vocational, and life skills training, community resources and treatment programs.

  • Successful completion of KCOJ Adult Drug Court program for 2 years.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a caseload of specialty court participants and provides comprehensive case management services.
  • Conducts participant home visits and site visits.
  • Connects participants with treatment providers, community resources, and support services.
  • Provides crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Monitors drug testing.
  • Administers drug testing as needed.
  • Conducts participant assessments, including assessments within correctional facilities.
  • Enters and maintains accurate data in designated case management systems.
  • Maintains thorough and timely case records and documentation.
  • Prepares files, and tracks court orders and related court documents.
  • Attends specialty court staffing meetings and provides comprehensive participant progress reports to the Specialty Court Judge and multidisciplinary team.
  • Attends court sessions and monitors participant compliance, engagement, and recovery progress.
  • Develops and maintains collaborative partnerships with community agencies, treatment providers, and other stakeholders to enhance services and opportunities available to specialty court participants.
  • Assists with or leads program events, including participant graduations and recognition ceremonies, as appropriate.
  • May assist with the training, mentoring, and onboarding of new specialty court staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
