About The Position

Recover is a startup dedicated to improving the effectiveness, accessibility, and affordability of mental health and addiction treatment. We collaborate with governments to enhance outcomes for individuals seeking treatment, with a particular focus on ensuring low-income Americans have access to top-tier care. Our program offers treatment for individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges, employing a harm reduction approach and serving marginalized and underserved communities. As a growing team with a background from prestigious institutions like Yale Law, UCLA School of Medicine, Harvard Medical School, and the White House, we are seeking individuals to join us in our expansion. As a case manager, you will work directly with clients to facilitate their access to services and resources throughout their substance use disorder treatment journey. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting client intakes, assessing individual recovery needs, connecting clients to appropriate services and resources, and assisting them in navigating these resources. Building strong relationships with clients and guiding them through their recovery, especially in encouraging follow-through on provided opportunities, is crucial. You will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including the medical director, nurse practitioners, and counselors, to develop comprehensive treatment plans. This role is ideal for someone who thrives working independently, takes initiative in client care, excels at building rapport, and functions well within a collaborative team setting. You will have the chance to grow with us and serve patients statewide. This is a full-time position, reporting to the Program Manager. The role requires 40 hours per week, spread across 4-5 days, with a focus on evening hours to support clients outside of standard 9-5 schedules, which is essential for treatment accessibility.

Requirements

Certified or Registered Alcohol or Drug Counselor OR Licensed Therapist (LCSW, ACSW, LMFT, AMFT, etc.)
1+ years of experience in addiction treatment

Responsibilities
