Case Manager - Runaway/Homeless Youth

About The Position

The Case Manager will work with youth and young adults between the ages of 14 up to 24 years of age that are runaway and/or homeless. The Case Manager will work collaboratively with local resources as well as the family, and other professionals. This support position requires a very strong attention to detail, patience, ability to communicate clearly, self-discipline, highly developed understanding of confidentiality, and ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with a team is required. The candidate will be responsible for extensive documentation and paperwork, counseling and case management for clients and families. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in human services (preferably social work) and one year’s experience (or 1000 hours supervised as part of an internship). Previous work experience working with older adolescents, homeless and/or families is preferred. Prospective employees must possess a valid Illinois driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
