Requirements
- Current RN license
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 5 years' experience, preferably in a hospital setting
- Case management certification
Responsibilities
- Assure clinical appropriateness of services and efficient use of resources through collaboration with the entire health care team for acute care patients
- Responsible for medical necessity review
- Responsible for discharge planning
- Responsible for utilization review
