About The Position

The Case Management Associate (CMA) assists in development and maintenance of systems to support daily SW/RN Case Manager activities. The CMA will work side by side with the SW/RN Case Management to assist with discharge planning and utilization review activities.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED.
  • Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS’s Compliance Program and Code of Conduct through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities
  • Knowledge and experience with computers, common Microsoft Office applications, and electronic medical records

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years experience in patient care or other related healthcare field preferred.
  • Previous experience in Case Management, discharge planning or utilization management is strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual preferred (Spanish).
  • Preferred 2 years health related work experience. i.e.: behavior health, public health, medical clinic, acute hospital, community health) is strongly preferred.
