About The Position
Temp Case Initiation Specialist Location: Jefferson City, MO Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pay: $17.50/hr Benefits: Weekly pay via direct deposit, PTO, and health benefits Join Our Team! We are currently hiring Case Initiation Specialists to help open and manage child support cases for the state of Missouri. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with data, helping families, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least one year working in a clerical, data entry, or office assistance position
- Proficient in data entry skills including keyboard, mouse, 10-key pad
- Typing speed of 45-50 wpm minimum
- Proficient in Microsoft office programs
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to lift at least 15 pounds as needed
Responsibilities
- Open all child support cases for the state of Missouri by using details provided on an application to find and locate possible parties and creating the case to match the needs of the families.
- Assess child support cases using contract/project systems and online resources.
- Assist customers who call in regarding their applications
- Analyze and interpret data to determine appropriate next steps
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold legal standards
- Enter and verify accurate data into computer programs
- Follow standard operating procedures thoroughly to ensure everything is processed properly
