About The Position

Supplies Filler Operators with clean and sanitary milk cases to allow production to run efficiently. This role involves reviewing daily paperwork, providing training for other operators, serving as a point of contact for supervisors and maintenance, unloading trailers, accurately documenting cases and pallets, lifting and stacking items, safely transferring cases to the chain, assisting with alternative tasks when the chain is full, maintaining a clean and orderly work area, safely working around chemicals and machinery during cleaning, and monitoring radio systems for effective communication. The position requires collaboration with team members to achieve shared goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, General Education Degree (GED), or International Education Equivalent.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively through multiple channels – oral, written, visual, and non-verbal – ensuring our messages are understood and delivered appropriately, whether in-person or digitally.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews daily paperwork for discrepancies and ensures submission before the end of the shift.
  • Provide training for Case Dock Operators and assist in leading daily activities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for supervisors, managers, and maintenance personnel.
  • Unloads trailers as received and documents and accounts for cases and pallets accurately.
  • Lifts, stacks, and loads pallets, and additional items needed from trailers.
  • Safely transfers cases to the chain.
  • When the chain is full, the operator will proactively assist with alternative job tasks to support production.
  • Keeps the work area clean and orderly and in safe condition.
  • When cleaning case washer, case dock drain, or trailers, must safely work around chemicals and machinery.
  • Monitors radio systems to ensure effective communication for operational efficiency.
  • Collaborates effectively with team members to achieve shared goals and ensure successful completion of tasks.
