Tuscan Dairy is seeking a Case Dock Laborer to work in their Case Room. This role involves maintaining and cleaning equipment, handling case stacks from trucks using a milk hook or pallet jack, and ensuring conveyor tracks are consistently filled with empty cases to prevent production delays. The laborer will also confirm the empty case area is full at the end of each shift to support the next production run. Key responsibilities include prioritizing truck emptying based on input from supervisors, continuously scanning and tidying the work area to minimize hazards, and removing broken or unusable cases to a designated area. The position also requires handling returned and truck inventory products as instructed, ensuring trailers are unloaded and washed efficiently while keeping dock doors closed when not in use, and accurately completing all required paperwork in accordance with SOPs. The Case Dock Laborer is expected to contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process enhancement opportunities, immediately reporting any food safety and quality issues to management, and maintaining safe working conditions in compliance with state and federal health and safety regulations. Adherence to all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements is essential.
