About The Position

A Case Designer is responsible for providing insurance product and illustration support to a wide range of individuals: Internal Sales Consultants and New Business Team, Independent Financial Producers, and Institutional Financial Advisors. Though Annuity, Disability Income and Long-Term Care capabilities are a plus, this position includes a specific emphasis on Life Insurance products. This position is expected to be able to work independently and escalate issues appropriately.

Requirements

High School, GED or related industry experience required
Demonstrates strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
Exhibits accountability, effective follow-up, and maintains confidentiality.
Communicates clearly and professionally, both in writing and verbally.
Collaborates well in team environments, including virtual teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and web-based platforms such as carrier and vendor websites.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Generate and revise life insurance illustrations based on advisor or team member requests, incorporating changes in underwriting, premiums, and case design as needed.
Log all illustration proposals in the CRM system according to established guidelines for accurate and detailed reporting; store documents following filing protocols.
Analyze client needs to recommend appropriate life insurance products and concepts, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and offerings.
Maintain expertise in life insurance products, case design software, and presentation tools; prepare and communicate sales proposals and presentations to producers, clients, and staff.
Order In-Force Ledgers from carriers upon request and ensure timely follow-up and review for accuracy.
Support field requests by providing necessary forms, prepared applications, and additional documentation as required.
Monitor and gather current marketplace information on product pricing, features, and new offerings to stay informed and competitive.
Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of electronic application submission platforms and serve as a resource for training and assistance.
Adhere to all established procedures and protocols to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in all case design and illustration activities.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the team.
