About The Position

This is a part-time, temporary position working 10-20 hours per week with flexible evening and weekend hours. The role involves interacting with juveniles in the Juvenile Drug Court Program, administering drug testing and surveillance, and potentially mentoring participants. The ideal candidate will keep information confidential, follow rules, understand and relay instructions effectively, and deal with all levels of the public.

Requirements

High school diploma
Valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility
Courteous and cooperative demeanor
Ability to understand, read, and relay instructions
Ability to follow and require others to follow set rules
Ability to keep information confidential
Interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all levels of the public

Responsibilities

Assisting with drug testing, curfew checks, electronic monitoring, and mentoring participants in the Juvenile Drug Court Program.
Scheduling and meeting with participants, their families, and the juvenile court officer for intake to review rules and roles.
Conducting and observing alcohol sensor and urinalysis tests on a random basis.
Conducting curfew checks by phone or in person.
Assisting with electronic monitoring and other monitoring devices.
Supervising participants in group outings and special projects.
Completing required paperwork.
Reporting any neglect or abuse as a mandated reporter.
Performing other duties of a comparable level or type.
