Under general direction of a Social Work Supervisor, employee performs administrative duties including maintaining a caseload of assigned clients, preparing documents, organizing and maintaining case records, providing the public or service provider with requested information and referrals, and performing related work as required. The employee has the authority to carry out their duties in a manner consistent with good professional judgment and within the parameters of state statutes, Department of Human Services rules, and Scott County Human Services policies and procedures. Work is primarily performed in an office setting but also has requirements for field work. Position specific duties for Case Aide positions vary by program area/focus. Some positions may require evening and weekend hours.
