This position supervises staff and assigns and reviews work to ensure effective daily operations of the assigned unit. It performs case processing responsibilities including processing dockets, appeals, probation transfers, and e-filing (if applicable). The role also involves training new employees, providing technical assistance to staff and the public, and addressing operational challenges as needed. The Case Administrator I works under the direction of a Department Head and is responsible for maintaining accuracy and completeness of cases and records, scheduling hearings, pulling cases for hearings, and ensuring dockets are accurate. This role also involves processing bill and batch transmittals, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing expenditure reports, and serving as a liaison between the work unit and other offices and outside agencies. Additionally, the position provides customer service to attorneys, litigants, law enforcement personnel, and the public, and supervises the collection and reporting of statistics concerning cases processed. Training staff in the use of automated systems and case management business processes is also a key responsibility.
