About The Position

National Carwash Solutions (NCS) is seeking a Chemical Technician to join their team. This role is crucial for customer engagement and retention, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction by troubleshooting and resolving issues, proactively addressing potential problems, and identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience. The technician will typically be responsible for 50-75 sites per month.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred; or equivalent practical experience.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge & aptitude.
  • Ability to communicate internally and externally across all levels of the organization.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills and basic knowledge of a computer.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide the highest level of customer service and support.
  • Ability to function with minimal supervision and work in a team environment.
  • Must be a self-starter and be extremely motivated.
  • Exemplary organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to support overnight travel up to 40% based on territory & customer needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Car Wash experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional, expert solutions to customers to ensure their business is profitable and their customers are satisfied with a clean, shiny, dry vehicle.
  • Perform site preventative care, including titration and volumetrics of product as needed.
  • Conduct minor chemical equipment/application repairs.
  • Manage customer chemical conversions & installations, keeping customers informed of progress.
  • Monitor customer chemical levels and place replenishment orders.
  • Maintain Wash Key Reporting - Service Report.
  • Conduct NCS Site Surveys using the provided template.
  • Support and execute corporate accounts (CTC) per protocols.
  • Provide on-site revenue program training.
  • Conduct basic technical and chemistry training with appropriate location personnel.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date computer files (SF, Portal, Google & CTM) of customers and their issues.
  • Analyze customer outputs and make recommendations on technical updates or ways to increase efficiency and wash counts.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth, conduct initial intake discussions, and communicate to sales management.
  • Comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, Local Regulatory Law, and company safety policies.
