About The Position

Organize and direct the carton department ensuring quality cartons are produced for the packing department that is within customer specifications and Ardagh Glass Packaging quality management systems.

Requirements

  • Quality cartons are produced for the packing department that is within customer specifications and Ardagh Glass Packaging quality management systems
  • Accurate cardboard inventory and location
  • Accurate and updated specification files for cartons
  • Environmental and food safety standards as outlined in plant policies within the department

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate repacks and reselection of the container by outside warehouse
  • Track daily production to ensure adherence to the production schedule
  • Maintain accurate cardboard inventory and location
  • Generate and maintain container and cardboard scrap requests
  • Maintain accurate and updated specification files for cartons
  • Monitor and reduce scrap generated in the packaging process
  • Develop sustainable relationships with outside suppliers to ensure materials are up to standard
  • Comply with environmental and food safety standards as outlined in plant policies within the department
  • Other duties as assigned
