About The Position

This role is responsible for assembling carts with products according to packing notes. The position involves retrieving items from the end of the production line, placing them in designated carts, and accurately recording quantities. The employee will also be responsible for organizing items within the cart, moving completed carts to the scale area, and potentially supervising other cart make-up employees, providing training and guidance. This role requires adherence to safety guidelines and effective communication with management and colleagues.

Requirements

• Must be able to take and follow direction.
• Maintain acceptable body hygiene and appearance per employee Handbook.
• Stand for extended periods of time.
• Able to complete duties accurately.
• Must be able to communicate with managers and coworkers effectively and professionally
• Must be able to read and write English, and perform simple mathematics
• Must be have knowledge of various linen products
• Must be punctual.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Must understand and observe all safety guidelines and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve Packing Notes and fill cart accordingly
• Grab products from the end of the line, placing in appropriate carts
• As items are placed into the cart, employee crosses off and initials quantities entered
• Fill carts with heavier and larger quantities first, lighter and smaller quantities on top
• Move completed carts to the scale area
• Supervise cart make up employees, and give training and guidance when needed
• Instruct production employees on any products you may need to complete orders
• Additional tasks as assigned
