About The Position

As a Cart Associate, the top priority is the cleaning and minor repair of carts, cart units, massage chairs, and strollers, including balancing and keeping them in working order. This role involves transferring carts from high return areas to high rental areas to ensure equipment availability for customers. The position requires excellent customer service, minor repairs with hand tools, and maintaining good communication with colleagues and facility management. Safety is paramount, and associates must practice safe work habits to protect themselves, coworkers, company property, and visitors. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling, typically performed when the mall is closed (early mornings or evenings), with nights and weekends required if needed. Requirements

Minimum 6 months previous work experience.
Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
Minor lifting, possibly 40 lbs waist to height.
Push and pull 75 - 100 pounds to move up to 15 carts simultaneously.
Walk and stand for duration of shift.

Responsibilities

Cleaning and minor repair of carts, cart units, massage chairs, and strollers.
Balancing and keeping equipment in working order.
Transferring carts from high return areas to high rental areas.
Ensuring equipment (including strollers and massage chairs) is available to customers.
Providing excellent customer service to customers.
Completing small minor repairs with hand tools.
Maintaining good communication and cooperation with other employees and facility management.
Learning and practicing safe work habits.
Performing other duties as assigned by management.
