About The Position

We are looking for a Carrier Sales Representative to add to our growing team. This position entails adding new business, developing, and maintaining current carrier relationships through superior customer service, and handling day-to-day freight operations.

Responsibilities

  • Employ strategic methods such as cold calling, networking, and referrals to generate leads and cultivate a robust book of business.
  • Develop, maintain, and expand carrier relationships through consistent outreach and the delivery of exceptional service.
  • Maintain regular communication with team members and carriers throughout the sales and transportation processes.
  • Utilize market data and research to propose innovative and efficient supply chain solutions.
  • Skillfully negotiate with carrier partners to establish competitive pricing.
  • Stay aware of the latest supply chain trends and news to enhance carrier negotiations.
  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of freight management, from point of sale to successful completion.
