About The Position

BlueGrace Logistics is seeking motivated and driven individuals for a Carrier Sales Internship for Summer 2027. This program is designed for self-starters looking to kickstart their sales career in the fast-paced logistics industry. Interns will work in a dynamic environment, cultivating relationships with truckload carriers, negotiating rates, and ensuring seamless freight movement. The role offers hands-on experience, professional development, and the opportunity to earn uncapped commission potential alongside competitive compensation.

Requirements

• Current students with an expected graduation date by August 2028
• Gritty, highly motivated self-starter with a relentless drive to succeed
• Outstanding communicator, strong negotiator and the ability to connect with people
• Willing to work on-site and full-time throughout the summer
• Determination to outwork your peers
• Confident ability to build relationships and establish rapport with clients, peers, and leaders
• Proactive decision-making, issue resolution ability, and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivation, strong work ethic, with an entrepreneurial and competitive spirit
• Resilience and persistence with the ability to maintain composure in stressful conditions

Responsibilities

• Make 85 cold calls to truckload carriers to fulfill shipping commitments
• Negotiate rates with carriers and book loads
• Focus on building new relationships as you build your own carrier portfolio
• Provide top-notch service to partner carriers and internal stakeholders while being rewarded for exceeding metrics such as outbound calls, loads moved and automation targets
• Resolve service failures in an industry where chaos is bound to occur
