Carpet / Floor Care Technician
About The Position
Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking an energetic Carpet & Floor Technician for The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center, a historic landmark and Curio Collection by Hilton property. This role is crucial in maintaining the beauty and guest experience of the hotel by ensuring carpets and hard-surface flooring in public spaces are impeccably clean and well-maintained. The technician will operate specialized machines and tools for floor care, extraction, and cleaning. The position is typically scheduled for first shift (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), five days a week, with varying days off based on business needs.
Requirements
- Experience using specialized machines and tools for floor care, extraction, buffing, and cleaning.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong desire to make the hotel shine and deliver exceptional results.
- Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business and project needs.
Nice To Haves
- Carpet and Floor experience.
- Experience in hotel housekeeping or similar facility backgrounds.
- Experience from hotels, healthcare, education, or commercial facilities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain carpets, hard-surface flooring, and public spaces throughout the historic hotel.
- Safely operate specialized machines and tools for floor care, extraction, buffing, and cleaning.
