About The Position
The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center is seeking an energetic Carpet & Floor Technician to join their team. This role is responsible for maintaining carpets, hard-surface flooring, and public spaces while safely operating specialized machines and tools. The ideal candidate will take pride in delivering exceptional results and enjoy helping maintain a beautiful, historic property.
Requirements
- Previous carpet and floor care experience
- Experience operating floor care equipment such as extractors, buffers, scrubbers, burnishers, and related cleaning equipment
- Ability to safely lift, move, and transport cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business and project needs
Nice To Haves
- Hotel housekeeping, hospitality, healthcare, education, or commercial facilities experience
- Experience maintaining carpet, tile, stone, vinyl, and other hard-surface flooring
