About The Position

Midwest Carpet Cleaning, a Servis Group Company, provides a single source solution to commercial and residential customers nationwide. We are seeking a Full-Time Carpet Cleaning Technician for our office in Ypsilanti, MI. This role is responsible for solo carpet cleaning for residential and commercial locations. The available shift is Monday-Friday, starting at 8:00 AM until the completion of jobs. The pay is $16.00 per hour during the training period, with commission-based pay only after training.

Requirements

• Experience cleaning carpet and making repairs.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Have a valid driver’s license and pass a motor vehicle record check.
• Have the ability to prioritize, multitask and listen well to understand customer’s needs.
• Work well with teams and individually.

Responsibilities

• Provide great customer service delivering the highest quality carpet, rug and upholstery cleaning.
• Operate a company vehicle and use mounted and portable carpet extraction equipment.
• Safely move furniture to prepare homes for cleaning.
• Identify carpet repairs, stains and make recommendations to customers that will satisfy their needs.
