About The Position

This role professionally cleans all carpets, curtains, mattresses, and light bars in rooms. It also involves professionally cleaning and Scotch Guarding all furniture and upholstery in the Casino and Hotel.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Carpet Cleaning Certificate is required or obtain one within three months of hire.
  • Must have strong verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to provide excellent customer service.
  • Professional conduct including good attendance and ability to maintain professionalism at all times.
  • Must have a positive attitude.
  • The employee is frequently required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
  • The employee should be able to focus on a single source of auditory information in the presence of other distracting sounds.
  • The employee must be able to see objects in the presence of glare or bright lighting, under low light conditions, or to one’s side.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of carpet cleaning equipment and its uses preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Professionally clean all carpets in hallways, stairwells, and landings in all hotel wings.
  • Clean all curtains in rooms and transport to Dry Cleaners as needed.
  • Work closely with the Hotel department for any emergency cleaning as needed.
  • Professionally clean and apply Leather Protectant and Scotch Guard where needed on all furniture/upholstery in the Chinook on a daily basis.
  • Professionally clean, Scotch Guard, and apply Leather Protectant on all furniture/upholstery in the Sky Catcher on a daily basis.
  • Clean, detail, and wax cars for giveaways.
  • Clean gaming chairs and employee lounge furniture/chairs as needed.
  • Repair carpet seams, burn holes, and tears in all carpet throughout the Casino and Hotel.
  • Submit written notification to the Facility Maintenance Manager of any fixture or equipment not working properly.
  • Document all services, accidents or injuries, items needing repair, and tasks on the daily maintenance form.
  • Report all unresolved issues that occurred during the shift to the supervisor.
  • Attend all department team meetings, workshops, and training sessions as delegated by the manager.
  • Immediately notify the manager on duty of any complaints or concerns customers may have and bring the manager to the customer to achieve a positive resolution if needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
