The Mission: As our next Framing Crew Carpenter, your mission is to lead and execute high-quality rough framing projects across residential, commercial, and off-site construction environments. Driven by our core values, you will bring an enthusiastic, winning attitude to every job site, ensuring projects are built safely, accurately, and efficiently. Working in and around the Madison area (within a 1+ hour travel radius), you serve as a vital contributor to our dynamic construction team, delivering craftsmanship that local builders and homeowners are proud to stand behind. By maintaining job site safety, protecting equipment, and delivering excellence, you directly contribute to our profit-sharing program and grow our ESOP for the entire team. Defining the Role: Rough Framing & Structural Assembly: Expertly assemble panelized walls, floors, trusses, and roofs on residential and commercial projects. Blueprint & Measurement Precision: Read building plans fluently and mark/cut materials using hand tools, power tools, and precise measuring instruments (tape measures, rulers, chalk, and gauges). Elevated & Off-Site Construction: Erect and work on scaffolding and climb ladders safely to assemble structures above ground level; work in the manufacturing plant as needed. Crane Signaling & Job Site Logistics: Assist with site operations through crane signaling and maintaining a clean work environment, including job sites, company vehicles, and job trailers. Positive & Dynamic Mindset: Bring an "Uber-positive," enthusiastic, winning attitude with attention to detail and excellent communication across indoor and outdoor work environments. What Success Looks Like: Framing Accuracy & Quality: Precision cutting and assembly adhering strictly to building plans and structural standards. Job Site Safety & Compliance: Zero safety incidents through consistent adherence to safety rules, proper tool use, and clean work areas. Project Efficiency: Timely execution of wall, floor, and roof settings to keep projects moving on schedule. Customer & Team Satisfaction: Strong collaboration with co-workers and contractors, representing Drexel with a customer-first focus.
