About The Position

Lancaster Cabins is seeking a Carpenter to join their team in Gap, PA. This role involves building high-quality cabins and tiny homes in a steady, shop-based environment. Lancaster Cabins specializes in building Tiny Home Cabins, also known as Park Model Cabins, which are portable and intended for campgrounds and getaway cabins. Requirements

Two or more years of construction experience is ideal, but not required (Framing, trimming, interior, exterior work).
Comfortable using hand and power tools daily.
Able to read and follow construction plans and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship.
Dependable and thrives in a team-oriented shop environment.
Able to lift up to 75 pounds, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
Must have own hand tools.
Hand and power tool experience.
Experience reading construction plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

Perform carpentry tasks on tiny home cabins, including framing walls, roofs, and floors.
Install windows, doors, siding, and roofing.
Complete interior finish work such as trim carpentry, flooring, and kitchen/bath installations.
Read and interpret construction drawings to complete projects accurately and efficiently.
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Collaborate with team members to ensure cabins are completed on schedule and to quality standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the shop.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of production methods and quality.
