About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Carpenters for projects located in the Bakersfield, CA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $30/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements
- Must have CDL Class B
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
- Stand, walk, and bend on uneven surfaces
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent
- DOT drug and alcohol testing compliance
Nice To Haves
- Experience in construction, pipeline, utility, or civil work preferred
Responsibilities
- Dig trenches and ditches, backfill, and level earth
- Haul, load, and unload materials and equipment
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt, or gravel
- Clean and prep construction sites
- Assist with traffic control in work zones
- Measure, mark, and lay out work areas
- Signal equipment operators
- Clean tools and equipment while following safety protocols
