About The Position
Skillforce is seeking experienced Carpenters for a short-term role in the Iowa City, IA area. Carpenters in this role would be installing temp plywood for doors and windows on a commercial project. The anticipated schedule for this role is 40+ hours a week, and pay is up to $28/hr. depending upon experience.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of commercial carpentry experience.
- Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Responsibilities
- Install temp plywood for doors and windows.
- Ensure work is completed according to building codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other trades and contractors on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times.
