About The Position

CPSD is looking for a highly skilled carpenter to primarily work on school doors and associated hardware, locks, keys, etc. Other carpentry tasks may be assigned and performed as priorities arise. This is a contract position.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of carpentry experience.
• Must possess knowledge and skills in framing, sheetrocking, taping, mudding, sanding, painting, and woodworking.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience and extensive knowledge of door hardware, locks, door closers, key cutting, and other locksmith tasks.
• Knowledge of Hazardous Communications.
• Experience working around asbestos.

Responsibilities

• Primarily works on school doors and associated hardware, locks, keys, etc.
• Perform other carpentry tasks as priorities arise.

Benefits

• Time and a half for any hours worked over 40 hours (for non-exempt employees).
