About The Position

Ledcor is seeking skilled and motivated Apprentice or Journeyperson Carpenters for a major industrial construction expansion project in Fort Saskatchewan, AB. The ideal candidates will have experience in concrete forming and engineered forming systems, a commitment to safety, and a desire to produce quality work. Requirements

• Journeyperson Carpenter ticket from a recognized provincial training authority, OR Apprentice Carpenter (Levels 3–4) registered with a recognized provincial training authority, OR Minimum 4 years of carpentry experience for non-ticketed carpenters.
• Experience with concrete forming and engineered forming systems.
• Must be able to provide government-issued photo identification.
• Successfully complete all required project orientations.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings and specifications to prepare layouts, select materials, and plan work activities.
• Construct, install, and dismantle traditional and engineered concrete forming systems.
• Measure, mark, cut, and assemble materials accurately according to project requirements.
• Plan work sequences and methods to complete tasks efficiently and avoid costly errors or rework.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it is level, square, plumb, and built to specifications.
• Maintain Ledcor’s high standards for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Complete assigned work safely, efficiently, and within project timelines.
