About The Position

The Carpenter contributes to AHF by renovating spaces, rooms, offices and performing maintenance to AHF locations and properties. The Carpenter enhances the reputation of AHF by projecting professional conduct while performing remodeling and repairs to assigned buildings, properly communicating with hotel managers, staff and his direct Facilities supervisor. You will be a passionate advocate for our top initiatives. To be successful as the Carpenter, it is crucial to ensure that the AHF Core Values and Mission stay top of mind with all that you do. AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders. The Carpenter will work as a part of a close-knit team to plan and gather information needed for a successful start and completion of a renovation or repair, by use of proven experience from previous jobs with knowledge of construction trades, taking care of AHF equipment as trucks, tools and materials. Performing maintenance and remodelings on properties as directed. In this position you will have the opportunity of traveling from one location to another as required, accommodating the team work in solving emergencies by bing flexible and maintaining a reasonable availability for extended hours when needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience from previous jobs with knowledge of construction trades.
  • Ability to take care of AHF equipment as trucks, tools and materials.
