About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman & Helper Carpenters for projects located in the Michigan City, IN area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $25-30/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Journeyman or Helper and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Requirements
- Prior experience in finish carpentry, specifically woodworking
- Standard hand and power tools
- All PPE
Responsibilities
- Build a screened-in porch
- Install screening, framing, and decking
- Perform trim work such as edging
- Read & interpret blueprints
- Material handling
- Measure, cut & assemble wooden structures
- Other tasks as assigned
