Job Summary The Carpenter performs a variety of duties in and around the hospital complex related to framing, cabinet manufacturing, demo and drywall, repairs, and general construction in accordance with DNV standards and applicable codes Job Specific Responsibilities:

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• + 4 years of related experience as a commercial carpenter
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Ability to complete construction projects in a timely manner with minimal supervision
• Able to work independently in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks related to the carpentry trade
• Ensure compliance with the hospital’s fire and safety codes before, during, and after each work project
• Installs commercial door frames and door hardware
• Install suspended and hard ceilings
• Assist cabinet maker with manufacturing and installation of millwork and solid surface counter tops
• Perform general contract labor work
• All other related assigned duties
