About The Position
The Carpenter will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks involving the use of hand tools, including minor demolishing activities, wood and metal stud framing, and constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. This role requires operating various hand and power tools, receiving and offloading materials, and preparing surfaces for painting and other applications. The position may require working extended hours and weekends, with compensation based on Fair Labor Standards Act guidelines.
Requirements
- 2 to 3 years experience in skilled carpentry
- Favorable driver’s record/valid license
- Must successfully complete background check and drug/alcohol screening

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Perform a variety of tasks involving use of hands tools, such as, but not limited to, minor demolishing activities, wood, and metal stud framing
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard
- Perform skilled carpentry work
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools and company equipment
- Receive materials and offload in a safe and proficient manner
- Prepare surfaces for paint and other applications
- Other duties, as assigned
