Requirements
- Experience as a Carpenter
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
- Sense of fun
- Friendly, outgoing personality and ability to address guest concerns
- Willingness to work in a high performance team environment
- 18 years old or older with a valid driver’s license
- Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including lifting, bending, standing for long periods of time, climbing, etc.
Responsibilities
- Framing, assembling, and adding finishing touches to capital projects, seasonal projects, and other park initiatives
- Repairing buildings, structures, doors, windows, roofing, and miscellaneous items to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Ability to work from heights of 100+ feet on our wooden roller coasters
- Inspecting rides, attractions, structures, queue lines, stairs, etc., and reporting and repairing any noted safety hazards
- Ensuring that specifications set by ride manufacturers, corporate policies, and the State of Massachusetts are complied with and documented
- Keeping all daily repair logs and journals current and accurate of maintenance performed
- Ensuring that all rides are clean and visually in compliance with manufacturer's specifications, and the expectations of our guests and management team
- Assisting with daily operations and assignments including material lists, ordering, and execution of Maximo assignments
- Performing other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the park
