About The Position
Here at Skilled Trades Partners Inc., we are looking for a Skilled Carpenter/Framer for a project we have on Cape Cod, building sheds, barns, garages - all exterior work.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in general carpentry and framing
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Experience with framing and structural assemblies
- Strong understanding of job-site safety practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity for hands-on work
- Reliability, punctuality, and accountability
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
Nice To Haves
- 10+ years experience(preferred)
Responsibilities
- Measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing wood, plywood, aluminum, and composite material
- Framing and structural assembly for residential and outdoor structures
- Finish work skill(stairs, trim, etc.)
- Safely operating hand and power tools while maintaining clean, organized job sites
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
- Coordinating with project managers and fellow trades to meet project schedules
