About The Position
Champion Window is seeking a Carpenter / Measure Technician. As a Carpenter / Measure Technician, you will be responsible for accurately measuring the customer’s home for installations and completing service jobs to ensure customer satisfaction. This is a full-time W-2 position. The company provides a truck, tools, and gas card. Champion Window is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and thanks its Veterans.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred, construction trade school a plus
- 3 to 5 years in home improvement / construction involving carpentry, roofing & window installation
- Experience in the use of a brake, and other hand tools such as a utility knife, hammer, deglazing tools, etc. required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Math skills including using a tape measure and angles
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Measures for products at customer homes
- Repairs windows, siding, and sunrooms
- Order and tracks repair / installation services
- Assist Management reporting and communication, as requested
- Interacts with homeowners to service their home-improvement needs
- Safely performs all aspects of job in compliance with all federal, state & local laws
