Ski's Truck & RV Sales is looking for a motivated Carpentry/Maintenance Technician to join our service team and perform light carpentry repairs and maintenance. You must be well-organized with strong problem-solving and repair skills. A keen eye for detail and physical stamina are valued greatly in this job. APPLICANTS MUST HAVE 1-3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous carpentry or maintenance experience in the RV, auto body or marine industries, or a similar field is preferred.
Knowledge of RV systems and components is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service skills.
Superior math skills.
Please note that this job may require heavy lifting and/or the use of ladders and other tools/equipment at times.
Requires valid driver's license and good work/attendance record.

Nice To Haves

Previous carpentry or maintenance experience in the RV, auto body or marine industries, or a similar field is preferred.
Knowledge of RV systems and components is a plus.

Responsibilities

Utilize hardware and electrical tools to perform light repairs and maintenance on campers, including, but not limited to: carpentry and cabinet work, adjustment of blinds or other furniture items, and flooring/trim work.
Use troubleshooting skills to identify any issues and determine the appropriate solutions.
Report major repairs immediately.
Fill nail heads, crevices and gaps as necessary.
Document/photograph all repairs for warranty claims; accurately complete warranty forms.
Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Maintain a clean and organized work area; assist with cleaning shop and maintaining tools as needed.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
