Plan, lay-out and install forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts for installation of concrete structures in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes and industry standards. This role involves using hand and power tools to assemble and install forms, rebar, embeds and anchor bolts, constructing built-in-place or prefabricated wooden forms, erecting forms, inserting spreaders and tie-rods, anchoring and bracing forms, building wooden structures, pouring and finishing concrete, and patching concrete surfaces. The position also requires participation in safety processes, team engagement for zero injuries, hazard identification and reporting, understanding stop work authority, reporting accidents and near misses, participating in pre-job planning and safety discussions, understanding and responding to safety hazards and warning devices, following lockout tag out procedures, attending site-specific training, and adhering to safety rules and regulations. Effective communication, mathematical skills, active listening, coordination with other crafts, and providing on-the-job training are also essential. The role demands the ability to produce quality work, read and understand plans and specifications, visualize 2D drawings in 3D, and develop a complete understanding of contract plans and specifications for assigned work.
