About The Position

This position involves assisting skilled carpenters with installing containment and blanking panels. The role requires a strong focus on teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions accurately to contribute to the timely completion of projects. You will gain hands-on experience in various carpentry tasks, including measuring, cutting, and assembling wood components under supervision.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of carpentry tools and materials.
Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
Valid work authorization for employment in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a carpenter helper or in a related construction role.
Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in construction environments.
Basic understanding of reading blueprints or technical drawings.
Certification in OSHA safety training or similar workplace safety programs.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Assist carpenters in measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other materials according to project specifications.
Prepare and organize tools, equipment, and materials needed for daily tasks to ensure smooth workflow.
Maintain a clean and safe worksite by removing debris, securing materials, and following safety protocols.
Support the installation of structures such as framing, cabinetry, and fixtures under the guidance of experienced carpenters.
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and report any issues or material shortages.
