Turner Industries is currently seeking Civil Carpenter Helpers in Lebanon, IN. Per diem is available if qualified. The schedule is typically 50-60 hours per week, but is subject to change. A drug screen and safety council test must be passed.

Requirements

High school or equivalent education.
Able to focus on task at hand without being distracted.
Must pass a post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
Must pass a pre-employment qualification test if applicable.
Must adhere to job site 'Personal Protective Equipment' requirements (hearing protection, safety glasses, long sleeve shirt, gloves, steel toe boots, etc.).
Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace.

Nice To Haves

2 to 4 years of experience preferred.
Six (6) months of experience in specified skill is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assisting skilled workers in performing their assigned duties.
Performing a large variety of other duties.
Reading and signing off on JSA prior to starting shift.
Digging, spreading, and leveling dirt and gravel.
Touching up paint.
Pouring and spreading concrete, asphalt, gravel, or other materials.
Handling building materials.
Fixing flats and changing tires on trailers and mobile equipment.
Lifting and carrying materials such as pipe and fittings throughout the facility.
Helping with tools and equipment such as welding machine setup, rigging for the crane, and tightening headstock.
Operating a crane if certified.
Transferring from task to task as the project progresses.
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Performing additional assignments as directed by a supervisor.
