About The Position

Terminix Service, Inc. in Columbia SC is looking to hire a full-time Carpenter Helper or Carpenter to assist our Construction Team by building, repairing, and installing structures in the SC, NC & GA service areas. Travel is required. This experienced carpenter position earns a competitive wage starting minimum pay $17 hourly. Discussion starts at $17 hour. Pay will be based on your relevant carpentry experience and skills. Requirements

2+ years of carpentry experience.
Must be willing to travel and perform carpenter services in SC, NC & GA service areas for Terminix Service Inc customers.
Valid driver's license, clean driving record required.
Experience with new construction, structural repairs and home remodeling.
Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, including standing for long periods of time and carrying equipment.
Willingness to work in confined spaces as well as in all types of climates and weather.
Requirement to successfully complete a pre-hire background investigation and drug screen.
Coachability and a desire to improve construction skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with tile and other floor covering would be a plus.

Responsibilities
