About The Position

Premier Systems Heating & Cooling is looking for a skilled Carpenter / General Trades Technician to join their team full-time. This is a long-term position with benefits for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in quality craftsmanship. The role involves working alongside both Premier Systems and their sister company, Rhino Built Construction, on a variety of projects including residential remodels, finish work, HVAC-related carpentry, and general construction. The ideal candidate is versatile and experienced in multiple aspects of construction.

Requirements

Experience in residential construction or remodeling
Comfortable with drywall, framing, siding, trim carpentry, painting, and general construction
Ability to read plans
Proficiency with common construction tools
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Dependable, motivated, and easy to work with
Owns their own hand tools
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Enjoys solving problems and figuring things out

Can walk onto a jobsite, assess what needs to be done, and jump in to help without being told every step

Responsibilities

Hang, patch, finish, and texture drywall
Install trim, doors, baseboard, casing, and other finish carpentry
Framing and light structural carpentry
Siding repairs and exterior finish work
Interior painting and finish work
Kitchen, bathroom, basement, and whole-home remodeling projects
Punch list completion and warranty work
Support HVAC installations with framing, drywall, trim, siding, and finish carpentry
General construction projects wherever an extra set of skilled hands is needed
