About The Position
A Carpenter Foreman position in Charlotte, NC is available at Garney Construction. To be considered for this position you must have previous carpentry experience. As a carpenter foreman, you will coordinate operations and oversee workers at a construction site. As the point of reference of both workers and supervisors, you will be a key person for the completion of a project.
Requirements
- Experience as a form carpenter.
- Knowledge of construction procedures and equipment.
- Ability to communicate and report effectively.
- Ability to work from heights.
- Understand blueprint drawings and specifications.
- Must be willing to work overtime.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans.
- Follow project plans and schedules to ensure that crews meet production goals.
- Supervise the use of machinery and equipment.
- Drive job site safety and promote safety culture.
- Assist in cost control.
