About The Position
We are seeking an Installer/Carpenter to support exterior construction projects, including skylight and daylighting system installations, as well as general carpentry work. This role involves hands-on installation, job site safety, and collaboration with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
Requirements
- Experience in carpentry, construction, or installation work preferred
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and complete safety training
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform physical work
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Install skylights, daylighting systems (e.g., Solatube), and related components
- Perform general carpentry tasks for residential and commercial projects
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to project specifications
- Follow company safety standards and job site procedures
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
- Communicate with team members regarding job progress and requirements
- Ensure installations meet quality and safety standards
