About The Position

Assists the Carpenter in constructing and executing a variety of carpentry-related projects using power and hand tools. Performs locksmith duties, including installing, maintaining, and repairing locks and door hardware. Completes work in accordance with specifications and applicable safety and regulatory standards. Provides time estimates for assigned work and maintains accurate records as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of experience in hospital maintenance or an equivalent building maintenance role.
• General experience with applicable fire codes, DOH Life Safety (LS), and Joint Commission (TJC) standards, or the ability to acquire this knowledge.
• Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• General experience with door systems, hardware, and keying systems.
