Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong interest in carpentry and restoration work.

Good physical condition and ability to perform labor-intensive tasks.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in carpentry is a plus.
Previous experience in construction or carpentry (even as a volunteer or in school projects) is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist in performing skilled carpentry tasks related to property repairs, including framing, trim work, cabinetry, and general carpentry restoration.
Learn and apply carpentry techniques in the repair and restoration of commercial and residential properties damaged by water, fire, and other disasters.
Support the restoration team in emergency on-call situations, following safety protocols and working efficiently to ensure projects are completed on time and to high standards.
Maintain a clean, organized work environment and ensure tools and materials are properly stored.
Gain exposure to various restoration processes and techniques, under the supervision of senior carpenters.
Contribute to maintaining a high level of craftsmanship in all completed projects.
