As we continue to grow, we are accepting applications for Journeyperson Carpenters and Apprentices for work in Kelowna, BC. The ideal candidate is solutions-oriented and enjoys working with a multi-faceted team on challenging construction projects. They are recognized as a reliable leader and knowledgeable construction worker who is passionate about efficiently and consistently delivering quality work.

Requirements

Own transportation, valid driver’s license with satisfactory driver’s abstract.
Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
Productive in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Able to operate a skid steer and rough terrain forklift is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Knowledge of commercial construction and remodeling trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, and safety.
Proficient at wood backing, framing, hanging doors, drilling and setting door hardware, setting windows, layout for stairs and common rafters, reading blueprints, and utilizing appropriate math skills.
Learn and actively practice essential carpentry skills on the job.
Maintain a safe work environment.
Set up and maintain tools for supervising carpenter.
