About The Position

Join our Festival Foods team as a Caribou Clerk (Barista)! At Festival Foods, we’re passionate about delivering a warm and welcoming cafe experience where every guest feels appreciated. As a Caribou Clerk, you’ll have the opportunity to create delicious coffee beverages and contribute to a positive, fun atmosphere in our grocery store coffee shop. Requirements

  • A passion for delivering excellent service in a coffee shop setting, ensuring every guest leaves satisfied.
  • Ability to follow recipes, manage orders, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Willing to jump in and help wherever needed to keep the cafe running smoothly.
  • Dependable and eager to contribute in a fast-paced, guest-centered environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working as a barista or in a similar food service or cashier role is a plus, but not required—we’ll provide training!

Responsibilities

  • Greet every guest and offer personalized recommendations to ensure they have the best cafe experience.
  • Prepare coffee and other beverages quickly, consistently, and with care, following recipes.
  • Take guest orders and payments efficiently, while solving any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Keep supplies stocked, floors clean, and the coffee shop organized for a smooth operation.
  • Prepare products for other shifts and assist in stocking and organizing supplies.
  • Conduct temperature checks and complete food safety logs to maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
  • Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.
  • Other duties as assigned.
