About The Position

I.K. Hofmann is looking for an immediate long-term contract opening for a Cargo Warehouse/Forklift Operator in Atlanta, GA for a Cargo facility. We are looking for ambitious and detail-oriented individuals to perform faced paced warehouse cargo work, under supervision. They need to be flexible to work different shifts.

Requirements

• GED/High School desired
• Operation-Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Frequently moves cargo in the warehouse weighing up to 50 pounds.
• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the warehouse and office to access cargo shipments and airwaybills.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States for any company without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload cargo on Trucks
• Performs duties on the runway/warehouse based on the needs of the client you are assigned
• Operate Forklift
• Tie Down Pallets
• Build Pallets
• Connect and operate ground support equipment
• Communicate effectively with all teammates and other runway personnel
