Handling 200,000 tonnes of cargo, guiding 15,000,000 passengers and keeping 50,000 flights in the air each year, the work that the dnata USA team complete on the ground is crucial to keeping the country in the air. The Cargo Warehouse Agent is responsible for the safe, secure, and efficient handling of cargo within the warehouse operation on behalf of airline customers. The role performs cargo acceptance, storage, build-up, breakdown, and movement activities while ensuring compliance with company, airline, safety, security, and regulatory requirements. The Cargo Warehouse Agent supports the timely movement of cargo and contributes to the achievement of operational and service objectives.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all required security clearances and Airport ID.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in air cargo handling, warehouse operations, logistics, or a related environment preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow operational procedures and instructions.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and extended hours as operationally required.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, weigh, measure, store, build up, break down, and move cargo in accordance with company, airline, and regulatory requirements.
  • Load, unload, and transport cargo using approved equipment and safe handling procedures.
  • Verify cargo documentation against shipment markings, labels, and quantities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain warehouse organization and ensure cargo is stored securely and appropriately within designated locations.
  • Conduct routine inventory checks and report cargo discrepancies, damages, shortages, or irregularities.
  • Operate warehouse equipment and vehicles as authorized and in accordance with company procedures.
  • Comply with all applicable safety, security, customs, TSA, CBP, FAA, USDA, airline, and company requirements.
  • Maintain accurate operational records and complete required documentation and reports.
  • Coordinate effectively with supervisors, warehouse personnel, drivers, and other stakeholders to support efficient cargo operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management in support of operational and business requirements.
