About The Position
This role involves organizing warehouse and storage facilities, arranging warehouse handling equipment, and loading/unloading air cargo. The agent must maintain safety and quality standards, and comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and company policies.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Eligible to work in Canada with a valid, open work permit.
- Flexible to work different shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays).
- Bilingual in French and English, spoken and written.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Customer focus and quality awareness.
- Must be able to work in inclement weather.
Responsibilities
- Load/unload air cargo from/to trucks.
- Prepare and palletize cargo as needed.
- Make sure paperwork related to the cargo is correct.
- Assure proper handling and delivery of cargo and operation of related equipment.
- Follow Dangerous Goods Requirements and Regulations.
- Comply with Swissport Standard Operating Procedures and Policies.
- All other duties as assigned.
